The heart-shaped leaves represent the seven municipalities in the Tourist Board of Central Podravina Area. Shapes with heart symbols are frequently used in regional architecture and on folk costumes. Embedded in the organic structure of the plant, the element evokes the heartiness and togetherness of the local community in keeping with traditional values. A minimalist wavy line represents the Drava River, which crosses Central Podravina. The green line symbolizes the fruits, forests, fields and rising interest in organic farming and tourism in the Podravina Country.
